In recent weeks, Insomnia and other sources have been hinting about a major announcement for New York City, and of course we have speculated a potential Electric Daisy Carnival on the east coast. What seemed like a fantasy may be coming true. Tonight, these rumors have been picking up steam and are beginning to appear substantial.

We are waiting for details on an official date and location but as of now, it is said to take place in late May, possibly the weekend of the 18 and 19th, at MetLife Stadium or Citi Field. If true, the home of the Championship New York Giants will turn into an arena for the EDM gods.

As of now, this remains a rumor and nothing is for sure a fact. We are waiting on official details. Stay on your toes New York, we will keep you updated..

UPDATE: Pasquale Rotella, CEO of Insomniac, tweets a hint about New York. These were the first words from Rotella since the Electric Daisy Carnival New York rumors were fired up last night. We are hoping this tweet will eventually become a confirmation in the near future while we are still waiting for an OFFICIAL statement…
